Provides information and application for all federal and state benefits for honorably discharged veterans, their spouses, and dependents. Services cover Champaign, Piatt and Ford counties, and parts of Douglas County.

A few of the benefits provided to veterans include:

World War II Bonus
A bonus of $10 per month for domestic service and $15 per month for foreign service is payable to Illinois residents who served on active duty between Sept. 16, 1940 and Sept. 3, 1945. Survivors are entitled to a benefit of $900 if the veteran's death was service-connected and within the period specified.

Korean, Vietnam and Persian Gulf Conflict Bonus
A $100 bonus is payable for service during specified periods. Claimants must meet specific qualifications.

Veterans' Grant
The Illinois Veteran Grant Program pays tuition and certain fees at all Illinois state-supported colleges and universities.

Jobs for Vets
The Department of Employment Security/Illinois Job Service provides a trained Veterans Representative to help veterans receive training and employment.

Illinois Veterans Homes
Quality nursing and health care services are provided for Illinois veterans. Qualifying conditions must be met.
